Sinon using the PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II.
Sinon acquired Hecate II after going to the dungeons below SBC Glocken and falling down a chute trap. She ended up in the lowest floor of the dungeon, the place with the highest level of danger, in a stadium-like area. In that room was a strange monster that she had never seen, although she thought that it was probably a boss-class monster. She thus went to an air vent at the top of the stadium and continued to shoot the boss, who was unable to reach her with any of its attacks due to her being too far. She had to make sure that every single bit of ammunition hit the boss’s weak-point, since she was almost out of range and thus the damage to the boss would be minimized. After three hours of struggling, the boss dropped a rare piece of equipment that she had never even seen, the «PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II».
Sinon would later be nicknamed “Hecate” after the rifle. She used it during Bullet of Bullets, although she could only carry seven shells with her at a time.

Но при этом она очень буйная, и это проявляется в её конфликте с Кирито. Тем не менее она дружелюбна и не прочь помогать людям, несмотря на то, что с ней трудно общаться. По словам Кирито, в ней заключена огромная сила воли, выходящая за рамки виртуальной игры. Даже на пороге неминуемого поражения, она не сдаётся и будет сражаться до самого конца, не желая жить в постоянном страхе.
Сино в реальной жизни полная противоположность Синон в игре. Она тихая и застенчивая, отчасти из-за пережитого случая в детстве. Большую часть своего свободного времени читает книги в библиотеке. Умеет готовить еду сама. Любая вещь, что напоминает ей оружие, вызывает приступ паники или рвоты. Практически каждый вид мужчины напоминал девушке лицо убитого ею человека. Многие люди пытались воспользоваться её слабостью. Из-за обмана своих одноклассниц Сино практически никому не доверяла и предпочитала не заводить друзей в старшей школе. Тем не менее она хотела жить жизнью обычной девочки, когда преодолеет свою фобию к оружию и станет сильной в настоящем мире. Вина за убийство грабителя преследует её так же, как Кирито убийство членов Весёлого гроба. После инцидента с Дес Ганом Сино добилась прогресса в преодолении своей травмы, так как не побоялась увиденного ею игрушечного пистолета, который принесла Эндо и из которого грозила выстрелить в неё, и смогла смело держать его в своих руках, доказав, что это её больше не пугает.
Показано, что у Сино необычайно доброе сердце. Она не только хотела простить Синкаву Кёдзи, но и по-прежнему заботилась о нём как о друге, поскольку Синон решила в скором времени навестить Шпигеля в центре надзора над несовершеннолетними, чтобы попытаться спасти его реальную личность, даже если было слишком поздно.
После встречи с Оосавой Сачи и её дочерью, Сино смогла примириться со своими внутренними демонами и смело смотрит вперёд, невзирая на трудности в реальном мире, также как она делала в виртуальном будучи бесстрашным снайпером.

Крупнокалиберная снайперская винтовка PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II является следующим звеном в серии винтовок Ultima Ratio (“Последний довод”), разработкой а затем и производством которых в начале 90-х годов XX столетия занялась частная французская оружейная компания PGM Precision.
Учитывая успех предыдущих моделей серии, конструкторы компании решили не останавливаться на достингутом и разработали модель крупнокалиберной снайперской винтовки Hecate II. Наименование “Hecate” – Геката, винтовка получила по имени древнегреческой богини лунного света Гекаты, которая, кроме всего прочего, даровала удачу на войне и богатую добычу на охоте.
Данная модель оружия находится на вооружении армии и полиции Франции, а также ряда других государств, в частности Эстонии, Латвии, Литвы, Польши, Словении.

Основные сведения и описание
Конструкция винтовки модульная, при необходимости она легко разбирается на основные части и компоненты. Основу винтовки составляет металлический каркас, к которому крепится массивная фрезерованная из стали ствольная коробка.
Ствол оружия несъемный, тяжелый, исполнен методом холодной ковки, канал ствола нарезан 8-ю правосторонними нарезами, навешан консольно (свободно плавающий). На дульной части ствола установлен съемный дульный тормоз весьма своеобразной конструкции состоящий из двух частей и крепящийся к стволу тремя 5 мм шестиугольными болтами.
При необходимости ведения бесшумного огня, дульный тормоз демонтируется и на его место устанавливается тактический глушитель, длина которого составляет 470 мм, вес – 3,88 кг.
Ствол и ложе оружия крепятся к ствольной коробке, с правой стороны которой, под затвором, расположен двухпозиционный неавтоматический флажковый предохранитель.
В передней части ствольной коробки присутствует специальный выступ, на котором закреплена ручка для переноски оружия на небольшие дистанции.
Продольно скользящий затвор запирает канал ствола на три упора, перезаряжание оружия ручное.
Усилие спуска спускового крючка регулируемое в диапазоне от 1,4 до 1,6 кг.
Эргономичная пистолетная рукоятка исполнена либо из дерева, либо из оружейного пластика.
Приклад регулируем по длине, с дополнительной вертикальной опорой для лучшей фиксации винтовки на огневом рубеже, регулируемой накладкой под щеку стрелка.
Открытые прицельные приспособления отсутствуют, штатно винтовка комплектуется х10 оптическим прицелом SCROME LTE J10F1, устанавливаемым на планку Пикатинни, что дает возможность установки любого современного оптического, электронно-оптического прицела либо другого прицельного приспособления.
При необходимости транспортировки, винтовка разбирается на основные части и укладывается в специальный оружейный кейс.

- When the Hecate was introduced into the test place, its third-person model was a two-tone grey and black Intervention.
- The Hecate is one of two French weapons in-game, the other being the FAMAS F1.
- The Hecate has a unique scope model, the Sidewinder ED.
- The scope in real life is the Scrome LTE J10 F1.
- This scope is also the only one in-game that has scope lens covers.
Despite the Hecate’s recoil compensation measures in real life such as the muzzle brake and its weight, which is supposed to reduce recoil to a level comparable to that of a .308 Winchester, the in-game depiction has very high recoil in the game.
- The Hecate has a relatively unique reload animation for a sniper rifle, where the character taps the bottom of the magazine after inserting it, much like the MG36 and the SCAR HAMR‘s reload animations, as well as the Colt family and the TRG-42
The TRG-42’s reload animation is a sped-up version of the Hecate’s.

- Attaching a Suppressor on the Hecate will make the gun have “damage rise”, with 92.15 maximum damage and 93 minimum damage.
- Being a stronger version of the BFG 50 lower ranks tend to buy the gun.

Due to its slow walkspeed, the player often has to switch to a secondary weapon to move to other places.

Appearances
“Hercules and the Underworld Takeover”
After continuous failed attempts to prove she would be a far better Goddess of the Underworld than Hades, Hecate decides to steal his Godhood by taking his flame through trapping a sample in a magic crystal.
While he is busy with the Council of the Gods, she succeeds in taking over the Underworld and taking control of Hades’ allies, declaring her intention to collect all the souls on Earth. Fortunately, Pain and Panic escape and seek help from Hercules in overthrowing her.
When confronted by Hercules, Hecate transforms her crystal into a humanoid shape. At that moment, Hades returns, with his powers almost depleted and his personality having become mellow. As Hecate started to gloat about her new Underworld order, Hercules destroys the crystal monster, restoring Hades’ rightful power.
As Hercules quickly excused himself, Hades exacts fiery punishment on Hecate for plotting to usurp his throne and happily returns to his usual title.
Hercules and the Disappearing Heroes
Hecate returns to take over the Underworld again, but this time, she kidnaps all the famous heroes from Greece and steals their great abilities in order to create a powerful monster to dethrone Hades. In the end, she is defeated yet again.

Tales of the Outer Planes identifies her divine realm as residing on Phlegethos, the fourth layer of the Nine Hells, but the later books Guide to Hell and Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells change its location as being in the third layer, Minauros.
This description may sound out of character for the layer of Minauros. But keep in mind, this info is derived from Tales of the Outer Planes, which envisioned her realm in the fire-dominant plane of Phlegethos.
Because Tales of the Outer Planes (1988) was published after the Forgotten Realms Campaign Set (1987), but evidently before the Time of Troubles in 1358 DR, when Lliira was free, this could have been set early the following year. It’s not entirely clear how long Lliira was imprisoned.
Legends & Lore states that she had no traditional priests, but this is contradicted by other sources.

Hecate rules over the Mazurka Corridor. A thief known as Gaia is attempting to kill her, and has even stolen the Silver Relief, an item needed to progress through the dungeon. When Nakajima first battles Hecate she’s unseeable, but if Nakajima has the Statue of Latos, Hecate will be rendered visible. After the triumph over Hecate, the Orb of Resolve is found and Latos’ Statue will shatter.

Hecate is a boss that can only be defeated if she is encountered during the New Moon. If the party encounters her in any other phase, she will force the party out of the room.

Hecate can only be acquired through triple fusion, but does not require a plug-in. She appears as a field boss that can be spawned close to in-game midnight in Ueno by approaching a statue in the plasma field next to Souhonzan. She also appears within the Ueno Mirage gold-level instance, a mob within Ikebukuro’s Zoushigiya Cemetery, a mob within the Second Home instance, and alongside Nyx when she acts as a boss during the new moon phase in Shinagawa’s ice caverns.

Realm[edit | edit source]
Hecate maintained two divine realms that were each on a different plane, being one of the few deities to do so. Both were known as Aeaea, with one residing in the plane of Hades on the layer of Pluton, and the other residing in the Nine Hells on the layer of Minauros.
Her realm in Minauros was a chilly, desolate land shrouded in fog where even those with an infallible sense of direction would become lost. The ground was blackened and charred, featuring rivers of fire and volcanoes. Within one of these volcanic craters sat a throne of obsidian, studded in fire opals.
Her realm in Minauros was littered in thousands of strange, sculptural devices that visitors risked bumping into. They blinked with eerie lights and made clanking or howling sounds. Her clerics would claim that these devices generated all the magic energy throughout the multiverse.
